Now in our third variety, spanning over 25 years, it is the result of highly intensive genetic breeding, resulting in the creation of thousands of new, different winter oat varieties each year. The endgame being the selection of the one single variety that best produces high quality forage, in quantities that can tolerate the type of heavy grazing you would expect from highly preferred winter oats.
If a variety shows the sort of promise we demand, it is then entered into Forage Preference trials that are designed to measure 1st choice preference across varieties in a natural setting, as well as to assess the value of other attributes, such as forage production, digestible energy, ability to thrive under heavy grazing pressure, and more. The best varieties will stay in these trials for many years until there is a clear cut winner. That winner can only be found in a package containing Buck Forage Oats. The losers are then thrown away, and we start it all over again.

We were excited and I wanted to like it but...

We ordered this for Prom and it was supposed to be a size small, which was available for Prime ordering, but had to settle for xsmall. The pants, fortunately fit well and just need to be hemmed, the vest is great and the jacket is snug. My son has broad shoulders and I was hesitant to buy the xsmall, but it does fit just right. The only thing he would need to do is unbutton the jacket while he is dancing and maybe take it off while seated and eating dinner before prom. The material is surprisingly nice and has weight to it. I was relieved it isn't flimsy. The overall look on my son is smooth and we love the pattern and the material has shine to it. I was not happy that right out of the package, the button to the jacket could potentially fall off during because it doesn't look securely sewed in. The side of the right side of the jacket has thread already coming apart. And I found a little snag in a different location. I'm really not happy about that. I posted photos so you can see what I mean. We were excited about this suit, but it's going back. The company needs to do better with quality control.

Very stylish & tailored fit

My husband purchased this suit as a “flower-bro” at my sister’s wedding. Unfortunately the color theme for the wedding was changed so he had to change it out which I was sad about because it fit him very well and looked great! The quality was good and the fit looked tailored.
