It has gorgeous grain and hints of spalting. The color is a warm brown that is rather, well, peachy! It has a minor branch coming off the bottom of the blank. You may be able to turn several small bowls or other pieces out of this blank if you cut it in half. There is some very pretty swirling grain associated with the branch crotch

UFO Peach Bowl Blank Ph-434 3.5" x 6" x 13" 3.4 lbs. This is a sizeable bowl blank of Texas-grown UFO Peach wood. It has gorgeous grain and hints of spalting. The color is a warm brown that is rather, well, peachy! It has a minor branch coming off the bottom of the blank. You may be able to turn several small bowls or other pieces out of this blank if you cut it in half. There is some very pretty swirling grain associated with the branch / crotch area. There is some spalting and bug-assisted decay, but the wood has plenty of integrity. You may want to touch up with CA glue as you go. This wood was from a tree grown in Katy, Texas. It died during the Valentine's Day freeze of 2021. We cut and sealed it with Anchor Seal shortly after it died, then let it rest and spalt for about a year before processing it. We have very limited quantities of this unusual-to-Texas wood. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried bowl blank, meaning that it still retains a lot of its original moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed on all surfaces with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It has been heat-treated to eliminate any gnawing critters. It was measured at ~25% MC in May 2022. Beginner Walker
Perfect for beginners. Size is relative. Be sure to measure your baby’s feet. Kinda pricey but so cute. Well made and durable for my 11 month old Granddaughter. Love the denim look and the wide toe box and flexible sole.
