The Sikorsky MH-60T "Falcon" is a twin-engine medium-range multi-purpose helicopter operated by the United States Coast Guard for search and rescue, law enforcement, military readiness, and marine environmental protection missions. Originally named HH-60J, the helicopter underwent a modernization upgrade in early 2007 and was subsequently renamed MH-60T.
The MH-60T is designed to be operated by a four-person crew, capable of flying to a range of 483 kilometers from the coast, remaining on site for 45 minutes while hoisting up to six additional personnel onto the aircraft, and returning to base with sufficient fuel remaining.
The MH-60T has a normal cruise speed of 250 to 260 kilometers per hour and can reach 333 kilometers per hour in a short period of time. The helicopter is capable of flying continuously for six to seven hours at a speed of 260 kilometers per hour.
