The focus of this workshop is drawing an animal from a photograph. With pencil and eraser only,learn how to use drawing tools to carefully create soft tonal layers to achieve detail and depth.

You will be taught an array of drawing techniques to help shade, blend, and texturize with realistic detail.

Experience level: Beginner. Ages 8– 16. 

 Perfect for all skill levels!  Workshops are led by Christina, a registered teacher and visual artist with over 25 years of experience.

They will receive:

• one-on-one guidance in a small class of no more than 6
• learn how to draw a realistic animal portrait
• All the art materials to create their masterpiece

Where are the Holiday Workshops Held?

Sessions are held in the Art and About studio at Indooroopilly, a small art studio set in a beautiful garden. Classes are limited to 6 which means more individualised instruction therefore it's good to book ahead

Cost

$60.00- includes lesson from a qualified and experienced Visual Art teacher, and all drawing equipment

Workshop Duration (2hrs) 

As classes are step-by-step please arrive on time. Aprons are provided but it is recommended for your child to wear an old 'get dirty' t-shirt or outfit to be on the safe side. 

Payment is due upon booking. Cancellations or non-attendance can be rescheduled within 2 weeks.
