This Maton replacement saddle is not intended to be a "drop in" application. It is slightly thicker and longer than your original saddle, allowing the replacement to be "hand fit" to your bridge slot. It will need modest sanding to the thickness (sides) and length for proper fit.
As a guitar ages, the saddle slot in the bridge can be larger due to the wood of the bridge drying out. This is why they offer a saddle that can be modified to fit by hand.
It will also need to be adjusted for height by sanding the bottom of the saddle to achieve proper string height.
If you have an older or vintage Maton guitar please check your existing saddles length as it may not be compatible.
