Vintage Wide Silver Siwa BraceletA beautiful bracelet hand chased with Berber motifs such as the bird and water as well as the crescent moon and star on the sides. The bracelet does not have hallmarks but does test as silver on a scratch test. This type of bracelet was worn in Egypt (the Siwa Oasis), Tunisia, and Libya, commonly in pairs. The bracelet is in good vintage condition with nice wear. There is a similar bracelet in the Quai Branly Museum's collection (74. 1976. 4. 4).

IInner circumference: 18.5 cm (7 3/8") including the 2.5 cm (1") gap. The bracelet is slightly adjustable. The inner diameter is 6 cm (just under 2 3/8"). Width is 7 cm (2 3/4") and weight is 94.6 grams.
