An alder body provides the balanced tonal response that has made the Jazz Bass a studio and stage favorite for decades. The maple neck, finished in satin urethane, is carved into a comfortable Modern "C" profile for an effortless playing experience. A slab rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5-inch radius and 20 medium jumbo frets ensures an inviting surface for fluid runs, while rolled edges add to the overall comfort. Open-gear tuning machines keep tuning adjustments precise, and the synthetic bone nut contributes to sustain and resonance.
