The Albino Red Head Tapajos are an outgoing, peaceful, medium-sized shoaling South American Cichlid with an appreciable distribution. Under adequate lighting, surroundings and husbandry this fish can display an array of colors on top of a cream-yellow base, ranging from red to orange yellows to pinks to iridescent blues!
Being a Geophagus sp., this "earth-eater" will appreciate slow sinking pellets as well as frozen fare with protein. Although not required, a sand substrate will provide entertainment for these curious fish as they sift the substrate for morsels to eat.
