Made from Kentucky’s premium heavyweight fleece, the fabric is tightly woven to create a soft, wool-like texture that looks luxurious while performing brilliantly.
It helps keep muscles warm and supple at the start of exercise, while efficiently wicking moisture as your horse cools down, supporting recovery and reducing the risk of stiffness - even on the coldest days.
Practicality meets style: the rug features two discreet Velcro fastenings for secure attachment to girth straps or stirrup leathers, making it ideal for monoflap saddles, and a tail cord keeps the rug perfectly in place throughout exercise.
The Pine Green fleece is complemented by brown artificial leather piping and the signature Kentucky logo, creating a subtle yet refined look that elevates your horse’s training attire.
Durable and easy to care for, the rug is machine washable at 30°C (do not tumble dry), retaining its soft texture and elegant finish ride after ride.
The Kentucky Heavy Fleece Quarter Rug is available in Pine Green, in sizes Medium or Large (please see size guide for help selecting the size required - we usually find that Medium fits horses who usually take up to 6ft 6in standard rugs, and the Large is best for horses that have 6ft 6in or above standard rugs).
