MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Good Product, Fair Price

I bought this for my guest bathroom where I have some other brass items and it fits right in. Easy assembly with the supplied Allen wrench and bolt, and it comes with a cover for the bolt hole which perfectly matches the base padding material so the assembly point becomes invisible. It doesn’t have a ‘towel unroll preventer’ but I knew that when I evaluated the reasonable sale price and decided that wasn’t important for the intended use. The base is heavy and the assembled item seems very sturdy. I found it weird that this towel holder came with a plastic box containing a fork and a spoon as a ‘gift’ but this will go in my car camping cookware bag. I don’t know how the brass finish will hold up over time but for now I’m very pleased.

Fantastic paper towel holder!

Very sturdy, with a weighted bottom & it holds larger rolls. I put select-a-size triplet rolls on mine. It’s a nice looking one too. Compliments a stainless kitchen nicely.

Nice gold paper towel holder on a budget

For a less expensive option I was please with the assembly and the look. It did come a little scratched but mostly in hidden spots and for the price, can’t be beat. It is not super heavy feeling though, so if you want a really solid heavy holder this might disappoint, however I like that feature since I don’t want heavy things scratching and breaking my counter or tile floor. It doesn’t wobble and I like the color so I am mostly pleased, only giving it a little less of a review because it did come a little scratched
