"Quilted" is a personal reflection on the memories stitched into the fabric of our lives. Inspired by treasured textiles, family traditions, and the comfort of familiar patterns, this work celebrates the stories carried through cloth, colour, and design.

The layered patterns reference fabrics that surrounded me growing up, many reminiscent of pieces collected and cherished by my grandmother. These decorative motifs become more than design elements; they act as memory keepers, holding traces of family history, shared experiences, and moments that continue to shape us.

Magpies move through the composition as quiet symbols of home and connection. Familiar and enduring, they evoke a sense of place, recalling the everyday landscapes and memories that become woven into our personal stories.

Through vibrant colour and layered detail, "Quilted" invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences of family, belonging, and the objects that hold meaning across generations.
