Feeding Guidelines

Primary Diet: Nutriblend Mini Pellets should be your bird’s primary diet ($80\%$ of daily feed consumed).

Enrichment: The remaining 20% of the diet should be made up of healthy fruit and vegetables (15%) and a small amount of treat foods such as nuts and seeds (5%).

Nutriblend Mini should be fed as your bird’s primary diet (80% of daily feed consumed).

Daily Pellet Recommendation:
Vetafarm recommends that parrots are fed a minimum of 10% of their bodyweight in pellets per day, for example:
50g Bourke Parrot (or similar): provide a minimum of 5g of Nutriblend per day
60g Plum-headed Parakeet (or similar): provide a minimum of 6g pellets per day.
100g Cockatiel (or similar): provide a minimum 10g pellets per day.
These feeding recommendations should be used as a guide only.
Be sure to check with your veterinarian for more specific information if your bird has special dietary needs due to a health condition.
