The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, heat treated side washers and a snap ring. This specific joint is a 2 in. diameter, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, 2 1/4 in. of 1 in.-14 left hand threads on the shank, and a 1.750 in. mounting width ball with a .500 in. thru bolt hole. Sturdy, high-quality components

Well-made reamer and plug inserter, as well as the 10 plugs, and the accessories. Even the pouch is high quality. Included instructions are very clear -- just be sure not to insert the plug with too much force, or you'll put the entire plug thru the hole. It's so much easier for a simple in-situ scooter tire puncture repair, where removing the tire can be much more time-consuming than removing a car tire. Including the high-quality little water/soap solution mister is a thoughtful feature. I highly recommend.
