In Buddhism, we believe that death is a journey that leads to rebirth, and that the consciousness lingers until a new life is found. The process of finding rebirth can happen almost immediately or take up to 49 days. During this transitional period (bardo), bereavement pujas, memorial offerings, and dedicating goodwill can create the merits to help your beloved pet transcend to a good rebirth.

Bereavement pujas also disperse the fear, pain, confusion and sadness that both of you might have carried, and replaces them with the energies of love, peace and compassion. Your little one will leave this life on a positive note, and receive blessings and guidance for a higher state of rebirth and liberation. This farewell gesture is one of the most generous, compassionate and loving gifts of all.

We provide six options of Pet Bereavement Packages to suit your needs. Pujas will be conducted at the Medicine Buddha Prayer Hall in Kechara Forest Retreat. Family and friends are welcome to attend the puja and offering service.
