Pre-shaped:
There's no need to resist thicker neoprene: the fingers have a gentle, natural bend to prevent fatigue, facilitate gripping, and reduce bunching of the material on the palms. The ribbed back of the hand ensures the gloves retain their shape. 

Secure grip:
A rubberized palm helps your child to grip securely and minimizes fumbling, making the first dives less confusing. 

Warm:
Triple-glued and blind-stitched seams prevent water penetration. 

Adjustable:
The Velcro closure at the wrist extends the glove's lifespan, especially if someone experiences a growth spurt between dives. This type of closure minimizes water ingress and also makes it easier to put the gloves on and take them off without much tugging.
