Product Description
The Schneider Electric SEL8F450 is a high-performance surge protective device designed specifically for use within Acti9 KQ II load centres. This 1 pole plus neutral (1P+N) Type 2+3 SPD protects electrical installations in industrial, commercial and tertiary buildings against indirect lightning strikes and transient overvoltages.
Featuring an integrated surge-adapted backup fuse, the SEL8F450 ensures enhanced safety and continuity of service. A clear front-facing visual indicator displays green when the device is operational and red when replacement is required, enabling quick and simple inspection without specialist tools.
The plug-on design allows rapid installation directly onto the KQ II load centre chassis, making it ideal for modern distribution boards where speed, reliability and compliance are essential.
