Aroma
Aromas of passion fruit, blackcurrants and a hint of elder flower, creating a sophisticated aromatic profile that reflects the wine's elevated temperature fermentation and fermentation with solids for improved texture.
Palate
Juicy, long and refreshing palate. Light, juicy, easy drinking Sauvignon Blanc with loads of texture. A nod towards Loire, rather than New Zealand. The palate benefits from four months on yeast lees 'sur lie' and 14% of the blend fermented in 15+ year old French oak barriques for extra complexity, without sacrificing varietal expression.
