The Fender Vintera II '60s Precision Bass is a new build coming from Fender's Ensenada, Mexico facility - delivering the best of a vintage Precision bass in a modern production run, crafted to the highest standards.
This bass, finished in classic 3-color Sunburst, represents an era when the Precision bass had truly become built into its own; its sonic DNA all over any Chess, Stax, or Motown record - and of course rock and roll to follow. Is there any mistaking a sunburst Precision Bass? Most likely, no. Remember, sunburst was almost everywhere in the '50s and '60s - and while not the most popular color for a refrigerator all these years later, the 3-color Sunburst Precision Bass is still the stylistic benchmark of bottom end.
Key features of the Fender Vintera II '60s Precision Bass include an Alder body with Gloss Polyester finish, Maple neck with Gloss urethane finish and Early '60s "C" profile, 7.25" radius Slab Rosewood fingerboard with 20 Vintage Tall Frets, Synthetic Bone nut, vintage-style open back tuners, and 4-Saddle Vintage-Style Bridge with Threaded Steel Saddles.
