The grain is roughly parallel to the long axis of the block. There are a few patches of spalting in some of the blocks -- it's attractive but not particularly noticeable. Price is for one single block. We have a number of them cut, all of very similar character. They are S1S or S2S, showing us some very pretty grain with a hint of compression figure.
