It is of a rare size and a tribal piece with 69 birds and animals woven throughout the deep blue and madder red field. The very fine weave displays a geometric rendering of reciprocal diamonds in ivory outlined by small individuated bird heads. Ends contain original striped kilim skirts. Beautiful floor rug.
