MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Much much better than the standard sock

These socks are superb. Lots of padding in the right places, snug where it should be snug & loose where you don't want it to bind. They are marked with an 'L' for left foot, & 'R' for the right foot (it makes a difference in the fit being perfect. They stay up on your heel & don't slide down

Hold up to tough wear - definitely recommend

These are my teens favorite socks. We've ordered multiple sets. Given that he tends to wear then as slippers I am really impressed with how they hold up. The extra large size is great for bigger feet. They wash well and I didn't notice any shrinkage, fading or pilling. This set is going to college with him.
