1970年代頃のSPHINXのエナメルイヤリング。

ころんとしたドームシェイプのオープンワークメタルが、艷やかなトマトレッドのエナメルで彩られています。僅かにオレンジを帯びた濃いレッドに、ゴールドトーンメタルのラインがキラリと映えて華やか。

メタルを立体的に編み上げたようなデザインがユニークで美しく、視線を惹きつけられます。

SPHINXらしい、エレガントな華やかさをお楽しみいただける素敵なお品。

身に纏えば、鮮やかな色彩と印象的なフォルムが、お顔周りを生き生きと魅せてくれます。

【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。

A beautiful dress. Well made. Fully lined. I don't know what they mean by front slit. There's no slit unless they meant there's a waist line. Fitted but true to size. There's a side zipper that helps get in and out of the dress. There's also a corset in the back that pulls any slack. I'm 5'5" and weigh 185 lbs. It's ankle length. The Drop makes good dresses. I bought the Crimson too and it's a beautiful red that makes everyone turn and gaze. There's another dress the Drop makes which is polka dot and same version in ivory. Beautiful draping and forgiving. I found these dresses when viewed at emanuela.moss@tiktok.
