HeroQuest The Rogue Heir of Elethorn is a modular expansion for the core game HeroQuest (sold separately). It can be combined with other expansions released for HeroQuest. The Rogue heir of Elethorn is loyal to the monarch but is an independent contractor. They come wielding a pair of deadly small blades to tackle their enemies with. This character is unable to use metal armour or shields but they are no push over in battle as they come prepared for many situations with their own unique flurry of skills. Equipped with a bandolier they are more than capable of joining the fray.
The Rogue Heir of Elethorn comes with 2 highly detailed figures (one male and one female) that have access to unique powers. These powers are new to the HeroQuest Game System and so no other HeroQuest character has the same abilities. This makes for a new gaming experience for those experienced in HeroQuest. The Rogue Heir will show of their prowess in battle by using cards such as Ambidextrous, Dagger, Combat Mobility and of course, the trusty Bandolier. You can choose to play as either the male or the female Rogue Heir, each will come with the dagger-wielding mastery needed to dispatch their enemies.
This expansion also comes with 12 game cards and a story card. The story card comes in the form of a very important letter addressed to The Rogue of Elethorn themselves from a mysterious, secret group.
The game is for ages 14 and over and plays with 2-5 players. The HeroQuest game takes between 60 and 90 minutes to play. The Rogue Heir of Elethorn integrates seamlessly into the core HeroQuest Game System. The HeroQuest Game System is however needed for this expansion and is sold separately.
