Description:
Best known for his novel The Scarlet Letter, Nathaniel Hawthorne was burdened by familial shame, which began with his great-great-grandfather John Hathorne, the infamously unrepentant Salem witch trial judge. In this, the eighth stand-alone book in The American Novels series, we witness Hawthorne writing a tale entitled Tooth of the Covenant, in which he sends his fictional surrogate, Isaac Page, back to the year 1692 to save Bridget Bishop, the first person executed for witchcraft, and rescue the other victims from execution. But when Page puts on Hathorne’s spectacles, his worldview is transformed and he loses his resolve. As he battles his conscience, he finds that it is his own life hanging in the balance.
An ingenious and profound investigation into the very notion of universal truth and morality, Tooth of the Covenant probes storytelling’s depths to raise history’s dead and assuage the persistent ghost of guilt.
'[Norman Lock’s fiction] shimmers with glorious language, fluid rhythms, and complex insights.' — NPR
'[A] dazzling series...Lock’s supple, elegantly plain-spoken prose captures the generosity of the American spirit in addition to its moral failures, and his passionate engagement with our literary heritage evinces pride in its unique character.' —Washington Post
'Splendid....Lock masters the interplay between nineteenth-century Hawthorne and his fictional surrogate, Isaac, as he travels through Puritan New England. The historical details are immersive and meticulous.' —Foreword Reviews

Fellas, this company really makes shirts, sweaters and I believe turtlenecks-the fabrics are very soft and expensive looking but in reality are inexpensive you can dress the tops up and you could dress them down. I cannot tell you how many Coofandy sweater turtlenecks, sweaters and Summer shirts that I have purchased. Honestly COOFANDY is the only company that I purchase my outerwear from-I have tried other companies and the fit and texture of the item is awful. My humble suggestion is to purchase any item of clothing from this company and you will be happy. 😁

With this shirt I say I do
Color: Khaki, Size: Small, Color: Khaki, Size: Small
This shirt definitely compliments the suit my son bought. Very light ,very comfortable, not quite tight fit ,but I can say that it fits perfectly .It matches well with a few colors ,purple being one of them . For having a teenager that at times mistreats his clothes ,and just throws the clothes on the hanger really any way . Not many wrinkles was really on it and I really had to fight whatever that was in his closet just to take this out and it was hanged up . For having it for more than a month I say not bad . It is worth it. And if it was me I wouldn't have any wrinkles on it what's so ever. Very delicate and easy to move in it. My son wore it to his friend's graduation party not one wrinkle on it afterwards. Very casual look. I will buy more for him
