The Caroline Guitar Company's Hawaiian Pizza Fuzz is one of the modern effect world's favorite distorted dishes. With the Tomato Pie, Russo Music has teamed up with the longstanding boutique effect builder for a tasty spin on the Hawaiian Pizza's classic fuzzstortion effect mixes. This V2 version introduces the same delectable distortion mixes as the original but with some added sawwce. New BC184 transistors fire up a beefier, more aggressive tonal profile from the previous Tomato Pie for an overall gnarlier tone with a greater output of gain over its predecessor. "2 Hot, 2 Saucy" comes across as a perfect way to describe the V2 Tomato Pie as the classic recipe you've come to know and love – just hit with a harder mix of spice and left in the oven that extra bit longer.
From this V2 version of the Tomato Pie, expect a charming mix of the top-end grind of a Fuzz Face, the searing sustain of a Tone Bender, and the woofing effervescence of a Big Muff all in one. These tones are pushed forward from the new transistors at the heart of the pedal with a three-way, highly interactive control scheme with scrumptious sweet spots sprinkled throughout. There's so many fuzzy flavors to deal out with the Tomato Pie V2, so truly, it's a dish to please every palette.
