College Of Knowledge Records present new signing Brenda, making their College Of Knowledge debut with two heartbreaking indie-soul ballads 'Where Did I Go Wrong?' and 'Family'. Brenda is the solo project of prolific ARIA-nominated drummer Hudson Whitlock. Known for his indefatigable creative output across multitudinous projects including Surprise Chef, Karate Boogaloo, The Pro-Teens and The Cactus Channel, Whitlock uses the Brenda moniker for his vocal music; as Brenda, Whitlock emerges as singer, in addition to composer, arranger and drummer. Brenda encompasses the left-field soul sensibilities for which Whitlock has come to be recognised and revered, alongside heartfelt, introspective lyricism delivered in a sincere, delicate falsetto. Stylistically, lines can be drawn to the 1960s sweet soul ballads of The Delfonics, Jean-Claude Vannier's vivid arrangements for Serge Gainsbourg, and, of course, the unmistakable flavour of Melbourne's cinematic soul movement à la other Whitlock exploits Surprise Chef and Karate Boogaloo. 'Where Did I Go Wrong?' and 'Family', are two entrancingly melancholic ballads that heartfeltly express Whitlock's dramatic indie-soul sensibilities; encompassing the classically introspective nature of the poetic lyricist and the idiosyncratic use of soulful instrumental arrangements. True to his modest vagabond nature, Whitlock has 'released' six Brenda albums to date, each uploaded exclusively to bandcamp, glady resigning the music to the underground. These albums (2017's Think Nothing Of It and You're No Barry White, 2018's Wiggy and What A Trip, 2020's Hanging In, Hanging Out and LOVE IT) display Whitlock's indefatigable creativity; he creates every component of the project in total independence, playing every instrument, carrying recording and mixing duties and creating the artwork. In this new material, Whitlock relinquishes the isolationism of previous works in favour of including his trusted inner circle of friends and collaborators: Surprise Chef's Lachlan Stuckey and Jethro Curtin on guitar and keyboard respectively, Karate Boogaloo's Darvid Thor on bass, and production from Henry Jenkins (Surprise Chef, Karate Boogaloo, Frollen Music Library). 'Where Did I Go Wrong' and 'Family' are the first of many tunes from Brenda to come in 2025.

I like this EXPENSIVE deodorant
Scent: Bergamot & Hinoki, Size: 2.6 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I really like the deoderant, as it seems to work well and goes on easily with no staining, etc. The reviews seem to emphasize the wonderful smell, but it is very mild and I find the smell minimal. It is rather expensive for a deodorant, but it works, so I will leave that up to the individual. Not sure if I will purchase again, but only because of the price, but I do like the product.

My go-to facial cleanser — gentle, hydrating, and effective
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have been using CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser for months and it became a staple in my skincare routine. It cleansed my face thoroughly without stripping moisture, which was exactly what I needed for my dry skin. The hyaluronic acid and ceramide formula left my skin feeling soft and hydrated after every wash. It did not cause any irritation and was gentle enough for daily use. The 16 oz value size lasted a long time and was a great purchase. Highly recommend for anyone with normal to dry skin.

Great for Sensitive Hands — Gentle and Hydrating
Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I can’t speak to how this works for the face, but I use it on my hands and really love it. The quality is excellent — it has a smooth, lotion-like texture that feels gentle and non-stripping. It cleans without drying, which is exactly what I was looking for. There’s little to no scent, which I appreciate, and no irritation at all. It leaves my hands feeling soft and hydrated instead of tight. It arrived quickly and well-packaged with no leaks or issues. For the price, this is a great value, especially if you’re looking for something mild and effective for sensitive skin. It’s become a regular part of my routine. #AmazonFinds #AmazonFine #Chihuahuamom #Dobermanmom #LuxeLife #MindfulLuxury #IntentionalLiving #ConsciousLiving #SensitiveSkin #CleanLiving #SkincareRoutine #GentleCare #EverydayEssentials #SelfCarePractice

My favorite face wash for sensitive skin
Size: 19 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have very sensitive and eczema prone skin and this face wash is the only one that I will use. It is so gentle and it works so well on my skin to remove makeup and anything else. It doesn’t really foam, but it lathers on nicely and a little bit goes a long way. It is really gentle and moisturize my face. It’s not greasy at all and it doesn’t leave any residue behind. Recently, I’ve been wearing a lot of sunscreen went outside with my toddler and I am so impressed by how well it removes that. The bottle is big and lasts a very long time making it such a great value. This is my favorite face wash and I will be using it for many years to come.

I am really happy with this purchase.😍🤌🏼
Size: 19 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Size: 19 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser for almost half a year now, and it has honestly become a staple in my skincare routine. My skin tends to be dry and sensitive, and this cleanser keeps it feeling soft, clean, and comfortable without drying it out. The formula is very gentle and creamy, and I love that it contains hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and glycerin. After washing my face, my skin feels hydrated and calm instead of tight or irritated. It’s also fragrance-free, which is a huge plus for sensitive skin. Over time, I’ve noticed my skin barrier feels healthier and less reactive, especially during colder or drier weather. It works perfectly for daily use and pairs well with other skincare products without causing breakouts. I also appreciate that it’s certified by the National Eczema Association, which gave me more confidence trying it long term. Overall, this is one of the best gentle cleansers I’ve used, and I’ll definitely continue repurchasing it.
