This fuzz is tamed only with a single level knob - tone and gain are preset and non-adjustable. The tone this EQD fuzz goes after is a cranked Sunn amplifier with a fuzz through the front end. Although it may imply to doom and stoner rock, the Acapulco Gold sits perfectly on pedalboards for post rock and alternative styles of music, and speaks for itself as a musical, usable fuzz.
