Compatibility & Fitment
- Compatible with Samsung and LG gas and electric ranges and ovens.
- Fits various freestanding ranges, built-in wall ovens, and slide-in models.
- Designed for use in convection, radiant, and thermal cooking systems.
When to Replace
- Oven control panel displays temperature-related error codes such as F3, F-3, or E-01.
- Oven fails to heat to the selected temperature or significantly overshoots the target setting.
- Baked goods are consistently undercooked or burnt despite following recipe instructions.
- The oven remains stuck in the "preheating" phase indefinitely.
- A multimeter test shows the sensor has no continuity or resistance values significantly outside the 1100-ohm range at 75°F.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect the power to the range by unplugging the unit or switching off the circuit breaker before beginning service.
- Remove the oven racks to gain clear access to the rear wall of the oven cavity.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver or a 1/4-inch nut driver to remove the mounting screws securing the probe.
- Gently pull the sensor forward to reveal the wire harness connector; if the connector is not accessible, the rear access panel of the range must be removed.
- Disconnect the old sensor and snap the new connector firmly into place.
- Re-insert the wires and the probe into the mounting hole, ensuring the probe is straight before tightening the screws.
