In 1774 he sailed aboard the frigate Santiago with orders to reach at least 60°N latitude. Juan Pérez Hernández was the first European to explore Haida Gwaii and to approach Nootka Sound, but unfavourable weather prevented him from landing to take formal possession for Spain. Although he reached only about 55°30´ latitude and left some missions unfulfilled, he collected important data that served future Spanish mariners. Juan Josef Pérez Hernández, naval officer, explorer (b c 1725 at Majorca, Spain; d 2 Nov 1775 off California). Pérez served as a pilot and marine officer in Spain's Pacific trade between Mexico and the Philippines and in the Spanish expansion into Alta California. He was curious about the unknown northern coastline and his request to explore it coincided with the Spanish government's desire for information on Russian penetration southward

I found myself needing a keyboard case for my iPad pro (10.5 inch). I stumbled across this one with great reviews. Once I opened the box it arrived in, it lived up to its reviews. The case feels smooth and appears to have great quality. The keys on the keyboard sound like a typewriter which I love. I was unaware that the keyboard lit up but to my surprise the lighting was extremely bright even in the daylight. The weight of the both the keyboard, iPad, and case all together feels as heavy as a FiveStar notebook. Connecting the keyboard to the iPad was the easiest part because once you pop your iPad in the case and turn on the keyboard and press the connect button you head to the bluetooth settings of your iPad to pair them. Performance wise sometimes the keyboard snoozes after a few minutes of not being used and takes a second to start typing again. Besides that it works great when you’re constantly typing. Overall I love the color of the case and it’s definitely a money spent well.
