Aspen Creative Item #38001A Aspen Creative’s KD collapsible bell shaped transitional spider shade in natural, made with a linen fabric. The lamp shade size is 9 inch top, 18 inch bottom, and 13 inch slant height. The shade is made with a spider construction, this allows the shade to sit perfectly centered on a lamp harp attachment. They are compatible with a saddle base, and uno slip-on base lamp harp or a bulb clip adapter. Assembly is required for this lamp shade, with an easy to set up pop-up and collapsible design, just lift and press side frames in place under the top ring on the shade. While the “Donner Party” is a very disturbing topic from US history, I feel this book gently writes through the gory bits but keeps relevant to the suffering of those on Oregon Trail which makes this very suitable for young readers.

Engaging and Different!
Format: Hardcover
Looking for a new kid's author to try now that Harry Potter has retired to a quiet life out of the spotlight? Try Stuart Gibbs. His first novel, Belly Up, is an engaging mix of mystery, humor, and adventure (as well as lots of trivia about the animal kingdom ranging from the fascinating to the . . . well, I'll let you read the book!) The story takes place at FunJungle, a huge new zoo/amusement park filled with many colorful characters. When the not-so-loveable mascot of the park, Henry the Hippo, turns up (literally) dead one day, only 12-year old Teddy, the son of two zoo employees, recognizes that this was no random event and begins his investigation only to find himself a target.
The book is perfect for the 5th-8th grade crowd (although very enjoyable for us grown-ups who haven't quite grown up yet and still love well-crafted young adult titles). I'll definitely be following his next book (not a sequel to this but an adventure based on the Three Musketeers when they were younger) which looks like will be available this fall.

Amazing but one problem
Format: Kindle
I LOVE this book but the one problem is that there are curse words. I'm 12 and I'm aware that Stuart Gibbs curses but I feel like in this particular book he cursed a lot more than he
usually does but other than that I absolutely LOVED reading this I will get the whole series for sure! If you already have read this whole series and want to read more I highly recommend spy school ( all of them there are I believe 13 of them) and space case.
