Continuing in a legacy of crafting tasty, shred-ready guitars, we have the Kramer Volante HHFR. This strikingly fresh piece from everyone's favorite '80s thrash guitar maker comes together with a set of player-forward features designed to balance both Kramer's long history of quality guitarwork and their vision for the future of shredding.

The Volante HHFR follows in Kramer's long tradition of making guitars for virtuosos and shredders. This left-handed Volante HHFR starts with a contoured double-cutaway body primed for mobility and speed. Kramer picks alder for this particular body, making for a sleek and resonant profile from the get-go. Reformatted for a modern era, this body works as an excellent base off which the rest of this Kramer experience can fly. This solid base matches with a three-piece laminated maple neck. Thermally aged and taking an Elliptical C profile for speed and comfort, this neck offers great transfer of motion with a sculpted, five-bolt, neck-to-body joint.

In addition to the Volante's quick neck, a maple fingerboard appears with twenty-four Jumbo frets and a compound radius. These two features inspire lightning-fast riffs across the entire scale length. The board's compound radius measurement enables easy soloing as its flattens from the nut to the body while its Jumbo-sized frets leave plenty of space to land expressive riffs. Quick travel across all frets is the name of the game for the Volante, simple as that.

Sonically, the Volante HHFR drops in with two American-made pickups. These Kramer USA Neptune humbucking pickups offer up a varied and vast sonic palette with which to create. Going clean, driven, or dirty are well within these electronics' reach to play how you decide. The five-way pickup selector on the Volante features five unique pickup positions with available choices including individual in-series humbucker, single-coil, regular humbucker, and parallel humbucker. What makes these pickups an even greater addition is their hum-cancelling design across all positions.

The hardware setup of this Volante also offers plenty to get into. Onboard, a Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge matches with an R3 Locking nut. Enabling players to work bold vibrato pitch bends in their playing, these two elements retain intonation splendidly for chaotic riffage. Mini die cast tuning machines align at the headstock to ensure stability in tuning and ease in stringing. In essence, the Volante is a thoroughly sturdy piece of equipment ready for whatever you throw at it. It also travels with an included premium gig bag for moving from place to place.

As a new addition to the Kramer canon, the Volante HHFR is a bold instrument to carry on in Kramer's boundary-pushing legacy.

I spent the $20 I saved on stuff to make this thing functional-ish
Color: White
The only reason this is getting three stars is because I do like the ability to shut off the steam and also it puts out the perfect amount of water and cleans well. For the bad, the design is terrible in four important ways as mentioned in other reviews (which I wish I had read before purchase so my fault). 1. This thing will not stand in its own unless in a very particular position and even then a slight gust of wind sends it toppling. 2. The one hook cord storage has to be the stupidest design I have ever seen. I did buy a command hook so I could wind the cord so that takes care of that issue (other than no notch to secure the plug to the cord). 3. The cord is not long enough but again I remedied this with a 6ft extension cord though I’m sure this is probably not recommended somewhere in the instructions so I take my own risk. 4. I did not like the pad included but have a ton from my old Shark steam mop (RIP) and they work well enough with this mop so it’s not completely useless. I would not recommend this mop to anyone. It is a bit cheaper than the Shark mop I was looking to replace but wish I wouldn’t have let my cheap side win and it’s spent the extra $20 to get a mop I know I like.

Quality Knives At A Bargain Price
Size: Steel King 15Pcs 10.4"×7"×15.4"
I have had these knives for almost 18 months now and they have held up great Edge retention is fantastic, and as long as you treat them right and don't leave dried tomato sauce on them for 5 days, no rust to speak of or even any discoloring! The build is fantastic and they are well balanced. I still can't believe I got this set for the price I did. I have a collection of pocket knives, I own Japanese wet stones to sharpen and understand what 8cr13mov, s30V and 14c28n is in knife production. (It's metal alloys BTW.) Having said that, I was a bit picky in finding a knife set that was quality built, had good steel and didn't cost $800. I honestly don't know how they are producing this set and not losing their shirts. Full tang design (One piece of steel from tip through the handle to the butt), and has nice glass fiber reinforced polymer handle material. I can't find any reference to this set in particular for what steel is used, but based on using various steel through the years I have a pretty good idea what this probably is. (BTW, I hate to break to you. At this price, it's absolutely NOT German steel...and that's okay anyway.) Brodark references Japanese VG10 steel with their other stand alone chef knives. It is common in the Chinese knife industry to copy an alloy alloy and call it by it's original name. It's NOT Japanese steel. What is commonly referred to as VG10 is 10cr15mov or 8cr15mov. Both are fine steel to use for a "general purpose" knife and perform similar to Japanese VG10, or even US made 440c stainless...perhaps even a little better than 440c. The steel in these knives is pretty dang hard, which makes me think it is 10cr15mov. The 10 is the Chromium content in the alloy. More chromium, more hard, more hard ='s more brittle. There is a balance of how hard without being brittle. Some knife makers use super hard steel to get a wicked sharp edge that holds for a while...buuuut then after a year of use you see all the chips along the edge or perhaps even a tip has snapped off. That's hard, brittle steel. You can't fix chips unless you grind them down and create a totally new edge on the knife and start over. These Brodark knives find a nice balance of hardness for edge retention but enough give to not chip or break off under general use. Like I said, almost 1.5 years of use and no chips, bends, or scratches. I still can't believe I paid around $50 for them. Incredible.

Wow! Amazing knives, regardless of the cost
Size: Steel King 15Pcs 10.4"×7"×15.4"
I don’t know how they do it for the price These knives are amazing, and I got them on sale for well less than a Benjamin The package with the block and the knives in it was so heavy, that I needed someone to help me get it out of the inner box. The knives are beautiful, heavy, well balanced. I can vouch, that they are sharp AF, because I cut myself twice unpacking them 😂😂😂 No fault to the manufacturer; they were very well packed. I am just a klutz First time I used them, straight out of the box with only a soapy bath before, was on a tomato and cucumber. I only have the use of one arm, and usually have to get an adaptive cutting board to secure my fruit/veges before I can start cutting them. But these knives were so heavy and so sharp, I didn’t need to do that It cut through the tomato skin like water The hardwood block looks beautiful on my countertop These are beautiful knives on their own. When you throw in how incredibly inexpensive they are… Buy them now. Highly recommended.
