The Fender Tom Delonge Starcaster is an aesthetically simple, single pickup guitar made for players who want a semi-hollow, high gain instrument with some unique flair.

Known for his work with Blink-182, Angels & Airwaves, Tom Delonge has a career that speaks for itself. A frequent Fender Collaborator (his Strat being a favorite of ours here at Russo), Tom's newest teaming-up with Fender has resulted in this one-of-a-kind Starcaster, featuring a handful of specs hand-selected by Delonge himself.

The body of this Starcaster is fashioned from laminated maple, into a classic Starcaster shape, with two f-holes carved into its top. With a center block made of maple running through the middle portion of the body of this Satin Surf Green beauty, it's capable of handling higher amounts of gain than a fully-hollow guitar would be able to, and is suited for rock as a result.

It features a pickup that's quite suited for rock, as well: a Seymour Duncan, Duncan Custom SH-5. This Seymour Duncan pickup is their take on a PAF-style humbucker, and is overwound to be slightly hotter than your average pickup, working in tandem with the center block-design of this Starcaster to allow for high-gain, deep and expressive tones to happen while mitigating issues with feeding back.

Attached to its body with a four-bolt neck plate featuring a custom "TOM" logo, the neck of this Starcaster is carved to a Modern "C" shape from maple, roasted to remove impurities and improve stability. On the neck, a 9.5-inch fingerboard made from rosewood is divided by 22 frets, which feature Pearloid Dot inlays between them. A Dual-Action truss rod allows quick adjustments from the headstock, and the synthetic bone nut measures at 1.650" wide. The total scale length of this guitar is 25.5 inches.

In the hardware department, this guitar boasts a handful of notable specs: a 6-saddle adjustable Stoptail bridge, Fender Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed Locking tuning machines, and Dual-Wing string trees all work in harmony to create a guitar that's maintained with ease, and also come in a black chrome finish.

With its simple, no-nonsense design featuring a single volume knob and only one pickup, and its Satin Surf Green finish, this guitar offers one thing and does it very well. To the stars!

Expansive and accessible
Format: Hardcover
This book broadened my thinking on project management within business. It highlights the portfolio angle, and relevant topics like how to drive adoption/usage and broad idea capture. The case studies bring things to life as well as the `list based' approach to best practices. I'd recommend it for someone who wants to understand the latest thinking in the project and portfolio management field and tie it back to business value and business strategy.

Great Reference
Format: Hardcover
The book provides a complete, high-level overview of Project Portfolio Management (PPM). As the title suggests, it covers both Portfolio Management and Project Management. The book is a great reference for PPM concepts. I personally found the first few chapters of the book very interesting, because it talks about portfolio management in a different manner than what you would read in other books such as PMI's The Standard for Portfolio Management. The book has been written in an easy-to-read style and it provides pragmatic ideas on how to best help an organization manage their portfolio, using concepts such as: Anchoring, superior estimation, batch vs. ad hoc prioritization, one portfolio or many, private collection of information, winner's curse, innovation vs. improvement projects, accounting vs. project management, etc. In short, the book is a recommender for all PPM practitioners!

Great introduction to work management
Format: Hardcover
I am not an expert in project or work management and found this book really useful and readable. Moore does a great job of looking beyond standard project management terms and frameworks and helps re-frame project management as a strategic, not a tactical concern.

Nice update
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I really like this version of a practice test. It covers pretty much all the topics I wanted to learn more about (like math related) and the fact that’s it’s current for this year is great. I didn’t want to practice with old information. It also has a well-structured approach to mastering the digital format. I feel like it properly prepares you for the actual feeling of doing the test. My favorite thing has to be the mini test. Sometimes I think I’m ready for a test but end up realising I still have a long way to practice so it’s great to have a tool that helps with that. Just overall, its practice is very reasonable so as long as you take the time to really take advantage of this book, the SAT will be a breeze.
