Her father, Brice Cutrer Jones, founded Emeritus in 1999, the same year he sold SonomaCutrer Vineyards. They only grow Pinot Noir, and we're also fans of the bubbles and the Pinot Noir Blanc she makes. But this Hallberg Ranch is kind of the flagship wine, and its excellent. Moody with some savory notes, but it still has the warmth of California sunshine.
