Eastern Red Cedar Block ERC-326 2.3" x 2.5" x 8"Eastern Red Cedar Block ERC 326 2. 3" x 2. 5" x 8" 0. 8 lbs. This is an end grain block of Eastern Red Cedar. It is mostly the deep reddish purple of Texas Cedar heartwood with a thin lens of sapwood along one edge. The grain pattern is strong and linear to gently swirling. In places, you can see intermixing of heart and sapwood that is characteristic of ERC. This piece is very aromatic it smells wonderful! There are a few scattered wood borer holes

Eastern Red Cedar Block ERC-326 2.3" x 2.5" x 8" 0.8 lbs. This is an end-grain block of Eastern Red Cedar. It is mostly the deep reddish-purple of Texas Cedar heartwood with a thin lens of sapwood along one edge. The grain pattern is strong and linear to gently swirling. In places, you can see intermixing of heart and sapwood that is characteristic of ERC. This piece is very aromatic -- it smells wonderful! There are a few scattered wood borer holes in the heartwood, and the sapwood is heavily bored. The block is sealed with Anchor Seal and has been air-dried to ~12% moisture content. I see no significant cracks, checks, or flaws. There aren't any knots visible -- this is an unusually knot-free piece of cedar. |

Use RTV to secure

Fitment is okay, the bottom clips of the grill don’t really “clip” in to the bumper. Old Amazon grills flew off since I only used double sided tape to secure them. I used black RTV to secure these ones and they ain’t flying off this time. Over all would buy again.
