Description:
Cortec® VpCI®-391 is a fast drying water-based temporary coating that provides multimetal corrosion prevention in harsh, outdoor, unsheltered applications. Excellent salt, humidity and UV resistance. Provides a hazy, dry, non-tacky film. Does not impact weld geometry and can be used to keep surfaces corrosion free prior to welding. Recommended as a protective coating when a non-tacky surface is required and when optimal removability is beneficial. The clear coating lets easily determine the condition of the metal surfaces with simple visual inspection.
Packaging:
Available in 5 gallon pails. Store indoors and out of direct sunlight at 40-100ºF. Do not let the product freeze. Contact Us to get a quote for this product in drums.
How to Use:
The surface must be cleaned and prepared before applying. Power agitate to a uniform consistency. Cortec® VpCI®-391 can be applied by spray, roll, brush or dip. Use water to clean up tools when coating is still wet. VpCI®-391 can be easily removed with alkaline cleaners, such as Cortec® VpCI®-414.

Use to prevent rust during manufacturing, transit, long term storage and export shipments on heavy equipment, machinery, vehicles, piping and structural steel.
