The PRS CE 24 Semi-Hollow stands at the intersection of two significant PRS traditions: the bolt-on CE—originally launched in 1988—and a semi-hollow body that brings additional harmonic complexity to the table. It’s a guitar designed to speak clearly and breathe naturally, all while retaining the articulate voice of the CE lineage.
A figured maple top pairs with a mahogany back to form the body, bringing both high-end shimmer and a grounded low-mid foundation. The semi-hollow cavity, complete with a single f-hole, enhances the guitar’s response and introduces a subtle bloom to each note. The Pattern Thin maple neck, bolted to the body, contributes to the guitar’s snap and speed. It’s topped with a rosewood fingerboard set to a 10" radius and fitted with 24 frets and PRS’s signature bird inlays.
Electronics are handled by a pair of PRS 85/15 pickups, developed to capture a broad frequency range and minimal noise. A 3-way toggle switch offers immediate access to pickup combinations, while a push/pull tone control unlocks coil-split options for added tonal diversity. Whether you're dialing in full humbucker thickness or single-coil articulation, the CE 24 Semi-Hollow adapts without compromise.
The PRS molded tremolo bridge and low mass locking tuners complete the hardware setup, ensuring tuning stability and expressive vibrato. The satin finish on the neck supports smooth movement, while the gloss Faded Blue Smokeburst top ensures the guitar stands out onstage—or anywhere.
