This unit is designed to keep water "de-iced only" It is thermostatically controlled to turn on when water temperature approaches freezing and will turn off according to the internal thermostat shut-off temperature. DOES NOT heat water. Constructed of cast aluminum, 250 watts of power and equipped with a five (5) foot cord.
