When to Replace
- Install to connect new appliances to older style propane tanks.
- Replace an existing adapter if threads are damaged, stripped, or cross-threaded.
- Replace immediately if a gas leak is detected at the adapter body or connections.
- Replace if the plastic hand-wheel is cracked or broken, preventing a secure connection.
Installation Tips
- Ensure the propane tank valve is fully closed before installation.
- Screw the adapter's POL fitting into the tank valve by turning counter-clockwise. Hand-tighten securely.
- Attach the QCC1/Type 1 hose or regulator fitting to the adapter by turning the black connector clockwise. Hand-tighten until it stops.
- Do not use pipe thread sealant or tape on these connections.
- After all connections are made, slowly open the tank valve and check for leaks with a soapy water solution.

Our Aussie lives these toys! She hasn’t torn any up yet. She did manage to tear off an ear from the cheetah but the rest of the toy is intact after a lot of tugging and biting. Comes with 2 squeakers for more fun. She loves playing with these and will toss them up in the air and chase it by herself.
