As if association with one icon isn’t enough, Paloma Picasso, daughter of the famed Cubist artist Pablo, designed this bracelet for Tiffany & Co. France. The brilliant yellow gold speaks for itself in a bold, but never brash, manner and showcases the premiere goldsmith work of Tiffany & Co. France.

Immortalized by Audrey Hepburn in the luxuriant Oscar-winning Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961), the iconic character Holly Golightly styled her hair, wore her clothes, and draped her jewelry with poise and taste, representing the epitome of devil-may-care mid-20th century glamour. By the 1970s, the Manhattan streets that Golightly strolled and cavorted not so many years earlier became grittier, more textured. One needed jewelry to accommodate that shift, to recognize it and respond with a certain kind of resolute, indestructible attitude.  

This bracelet evokes the power and grace of Manhattan’s skyline with its distinctive chevron V-shape pattern. The two distinct strands point in opposing directions and highlight the notion of refinement and simplicity fused with resilience. I was impressed with the Allen wrench which had a handle attached to it. This made screwing in the screws very easy. I was able to assemble the chair without any difficulty. Lastly, the look of the chair and the comfort is exceptional. I ordered the black/white chair which looks amazing. The comfort of the chair is really excellent. My back is supported by the lumbar seat and having the armrests being able to go up when not needed is wonderful. The quality of the chair is definitely worth the price.

Assembled chair only to find that the lift cylinder was faulty. Would have preferred to be able to just get a replacement cylinder but calling China didn't seem like a viable option. We're disassembling (so much fun?!) to send it back. The chair itself was very comfortable, assembled fairly easily and instructions pretty clear. Again, if we could only have asked the seller for the replacement part......**Update**...Or if the instructions that seemed so clear were clearer!, as we started to disassemble, we decided to see what would happen if the tension knob (see photo) was loosened. IT ALLOWED THE LIFT CYLINDER TO WORK. Not at all what the instructions say. At any rate, we're keeping the chair.
