Possibly this Custom Shop Martin's most standout unique feature is in its Cherry back and sides construction. Cherry is an American hardwood with tonal and visual properties similar to Mahogany. While we may never know if Washington chopped down that cherry tree, we do know that Martin has done so a time or two!
