Immerse yourself in the raw, pulsating energy of Walter Trout's Battle Scars, a sonic testament to resilience and survival. This 10th anniversary edition on aquamarine colored vinyl is a collector's dream, capturing Trout's indomitable spirit in full blues-rock splendor.Crafted in the depths of personal turmoil during 2015, Battle Scars is Trout’s musical memoir of confronting a life-threatening liver disease. Under the deft production of Grammy-nominated Eric Corne, the album embarks on an emotional journey, threading together tales of struggle, hope, and triumph. Here, blues meets rock in a visceral exploration of Trout's darkest moments, yet the music never wavers in hopefulness. Tracks like "Almost Gone" and "Gonna Live Again" resonate with an intense urgency and poignancy, each chord a tribute to the battle for life.
As the narrative unfolds, "Playin' Hideaway" and "Omaha" take center stage, weaving bluesy riffs with a narrative that mirrors Trout's ordeal. Each track is underscored by gritty, heartfelt performances, embodying autobiography through music. The album reflects both a personal and universal tale, where the blues genre transcends its traditional confines to tell a story of human endurance.
Encased in a gatefold sleeve, this 180-gram audiophile vinyl pressing is not just an album; it’s a treasure for musicians and collectors alike. Individually numbered and limited to just 1000 copies, this edition immortalizes Walter Trout's legacy - a celebration of music's power to heal and transform.

An Excellent Resource for Understanding Gifted Creative Rebels
Format: Kindle
This book is a gem, filled with affirmations for the fresh genius that an Otrovert naturally brings into the world. The book validates all the ways I have come to understand my own worth in the world, and potential for using my insights to help others in the future. If every person learned to strengthen the muscles of inner awareness, Otroverts would naturally emerge as natural leaders and mentors for a kinder future. I have been a mentor for adults for 40 years and will add this to my toolbox, as an Otrovert myself. Please read this book.
