Knitted by me in rural Lincolnshire on my vintage hand-powered knitting machine in a beautiful soft but 'sheepy', worsted spun 100% British wool. After knitting, linking and hand-finishing, the vest is first mordanted, before then tie-dyed in weld, madder then indigo. The method of dyeing is the same, but each sweater is totally unique!
The indigo I have used is grown by Bailiwick Blue on Guernsey. Due to the nature of the dyeing there maybe a variation in the shade of blue.
100% British wool, a blend of Bluefaced Leicester and Masham wool, reared and spun within 50 miles of the Yorkshire mill.
Available in regular length or cropped, Small/Medium and Medium/Large.
