It is all heartwood with a straight grain that's been cut slightly inclined to the long axis of the board, giving it diagonal grain on the faces . The colors are an overall medium brown with bands of darker brown grain. This piece has been air dried to 10 12% moisture content. I see no cracks, checks, or other significant flaws. There is

The colors are an overall medium brown with bands of darker-brown grain. This piece has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. I see no cracks, checks, or other significant flaws. There is minor surface discoloration that will sand off. |
