The semi-hollow body of this Gibson Custom Shop ES-335 Reissue features a 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body with a maple centerblock running its length that greatly reduces issues with feedback in high-gain applications, and a hide glue fit connecting its top to its sides. The mahogany neck of this semi-hollow beauty boasts an Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape, offering a familiar feel that harkens back to the golden age of Gibson craftsmanship. It's paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard topped with 22 frets and pearloid dot inlays, offering a total scale length of 24.75".
Stocked with a pair of Custombucker Alnico III pickups, this guitar offers a vintage-inspired tone that only Gibson can recreate with the authority that they do. Unpotted for maximum clarity and responsiveness, these pickups capture the essence of vintage PAF humbuckers, and feature independent volume and tone controls for each pickup.
Finished in VOS Vintage Burst, this ES-335 Reissue's carefully applied finish showcases the natural beauty of its wood choices, while the VOS treatment adds a subtle patina that gives the guitar a played-in feel straight out of its case.
