The long list of top-notch features on the Epiphone USA Limited Edition Chris Stapleton Frontier begins with the thermally aged Sitka spruce top - baked to perfection to produce warm and crisp vintage-like tones on a brand new guitar. It has a brilliant resonance and is dynamically responsive, and is meant to be worn in by playing it over and over again. As it grows older, the sound will only get even better. Then comes the Frontier's AA beautifully figured maple back and sides. Tonally, a great match with the top, providing focused mids when pushed, while maintaining an overall well balanced EQ. Its round "C" shaped mahogany neck exudes comfort and ultimate playability, topped by an Indian Rosewood fingerboard rich in grain and color. Mother of Pearl Slotted Rectangle inlays decorate the board, brining some brightness to the Frontier's darker aesthetic features. Its precision cut bone nut keeps the strings in check along with the Gotoh tuners, while the Indian rosewood belly up bridge helps transfer vibrations to the Sitka top. Beneath the bridge's saddle lives an LR Baggs VTC pickup, making sure you are stage (or stadium) ready to plug in and share this guitars excellence with the masses. And lastly, the most obvious aesthetic appointment to address - the double pickguards. Both engraved with the classic Frontier lariat and cactus motif, they help transform this instrument into a visual work of art, complimenting the chocolatey Frontier Burst finish.
