The Bahama Berry, scientifically known as Nashia Inaguensis, is a captivating tree native to the tropical regions of the Bahamas and parts of the Caribbean. Thriving in sandy soils and coastal environments, this unique species flourishes in coastal thickets.

Reaching a maximum height of 15 feet and spreading out to about 10 feet in width, its natural growth habit features a dense canopy of small, glossy green leaves that create a lush appearance, in spring the tree profusely flowers producing clusters of delicate white to pale pink flowers, followed by edible purple berries. Its ability to intricately branch, grow dense leaves and handle severe pruning makes it ideal for any bonsai enthusiast!

Leaves: The leaves of the Bahama Berry are small glossy, oval-shaped with a rich green color. Each leaf measures around 0.5”-2” making it perfect for bonsai. The foliage is dense and readily back buds. One of the best parts of the tree is that slightly bruising the leaves will produce a very pleasant aroma, this aroma has been described as mixture of vanilla, honey and orange.

Flowers: In the beginning of Spring & Summer, small, beautiful clusters of white-pale pink flowers grow on all parts of the tree. It matures in some purple berries in late summer/fall. The leaves, bark and berries have all commonly been used to make tea with.

Sun Requirement: Full Sun-Partial Shade

Watering Requirements: Water the soil thoroughly to help saturate the entire substrate. Water frequently and keep the soil slightly moist, not soaking, take care to not let the root ball dry out completely

Growth Rate: 6-18”/year

Lab tested. Lab approved.
Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 24"
My two Labradors make quick work of these. They love them. But Not very durable. Stuffing everywhere.

Our dog loves them
Style: Latex Surpise Color, Size: 6"
Not for every type of dog, but our dog LOVES these things. Try one and see how it goes. They are cheap, so no great loss if your dog doesn't like it, But if it does, you'll have a great time with them. Best $3 I could spend

Tie a Knot in it if it rips
Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 6", Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 6"
My puppy split the middle belly seam in about 5 minutes of spirited play with the white foam and squeak assembly scattered about, but he loves these loofa toys - goes nuts for them. Went through a couple of the little $3 ones so I tried this big one which he ripped apart. But I tied a knot in the middle of it over the ripped part and guess what, it's better than before. He loves the whipping the big knot around. The part where it ripped was where they filled it I think but the rest of the stitching is really quite solid. Takes a beating, to a point. The little ones lasted a reasonable time before they were totally played.

Do research
Size: Small
My pups love to shred things. This was a good toy for them to satisfy their need to shred things. My dogs are on the smaller side and I went with a small. I do encourage people to do their research and not leave this toy unsupervised. If your dog eats toys they shred this might not be a good toy for you. Coconut fiber can become impacted if too much is consumed. Unlike other reviewers I didn’t notice to much of a mess outside any other toy a dog might shred.

Not Suitable for Power Chewers
Size: Large
Coconut fiber toys aren’t ideal for heavy chewers. They shred easily, can be swallowed, and may cause choking or intestinal blockages. The coffee wood is a safe durable product and loved but my dogs. I wish I would have done more research before buying the coconut fibers chew.
