It was designed to chase crunchy, UK tones originating in the metal-panel amplifiers we’re all familiar with, and it sure did catch them. Its mid-range shines through in the sonic spotlight, snarling, growling, and howling through the mix. However, it’s no one-trick-pony. Dialed things down for more transparent tones, or go full throttle, dimed out for searing hot signal. You can even choose between 9-18V DC power based on the head room you’re looking for. On the inside, two purposefully imbalanced clipping diodes work together in order to deliver the British-inspired drive of your dreams for favorite guitar and amp combination, or bass, too.
