Tegaderm CHG I.V. Securement Dressing
The Tegaderm CHG I.V securement dressing is a special dressing for I.V. injection sites, which reduces catheter-associated infections up to 60%. The CHG gel pad is transparent, to allow for a constant monitoring of the injection site without having to remove the dressing. While wearing, the Tegaderm CHG securement dressing constantly releases 2 % of CHG into the skin, thus providing an antimicrobial protection that lasts up to 7 days.
The securement dressing is equipped with securing straps on the sides, to guarantee a contact-free application. Tegaderm CHG can be used for pain catheters, arterial catheters, dialysis and central venous catheters.
