The thick carving surface is in excellent condition, having a wonderful patina and authentic wear from decades of use in a French boucherie. Banded with polished steel iron braces that help to keep the top from splitting, this handsome butcher block sits over a carved wooden apron featuring a large center drawer for cleavers and knives with the original polished steel handle.
