Fit Profile: High-cut, agile, adaptive hiking boots.

The Lightweight High Cut X Boot is Zhik's answer for sailors who want speed and feedback over heavy-duty protection. Built for foiling and fast dinghy racing, these sailing boots trade the stiffer support of a traditional boot for something closer to a barefoot feel, so you stay connected to the boat through every shift in balance.

The 3D knitted stretch sock wraps the foot rather than encasing it, giving you a fit that moves with you instead of against you. It's secure without restricting the range of motion you need for quick footwork and aggressive manoeuvres. A low-profile Velcro ankle strap and webbing heel loop keep things locked in without adding bulk.

The Fibrelite sole grips wet decks and foils but still flexes the way a lightweight boot should. Drainage ports clear water fast, so the boot doesn't pick up extra weight mid-race.

Reinforcement is targeted rather than blanket. A stitched toe box and rubber-coated heel panel cover the spots that take the most contact, and a high-walled outsole runs up the side to handle lateral abrasion. Cold-cemented construction means it holds up through a full season of hard use.

Zhik Lightweight High Cut X Boot Construction

The 3D knitted stretch sock is the core of the fit. It compresses gently around the foot for a secure hold while keeping the flexibility that gives you direct feedback from the boat, which matters most when you're making fast adjustments on a foiling dinghy. The low-profile Velcro strap adds a second layer of security at the ankle without the bulk of a traditional lacing system.

Michelin's Fibrelite outsole is the standout feature. Laminating fabric into the rubber gives the sole tear resistance you wouldn't expect from something this light, and the high-grip pattern holds on wet fibreglass, composite decks and foils alike.

Protection is built in where it counts. The stitched toe box and rubber-coated heel deal with repeated deck contact, and the high-walled outsole guards against abrasion from hiking straps and deck edges without adding stiffness to the rest of the boot.

Zhik Lightweight High Cut X Boot FAQs

What makes these Zhik dinghy boots different from a standard sailing boot?

Zhik’s Lightweight High Cut X boots are built around a 3D knitted stretch sock and a Michelin Fibrelite sole rather than neoprene and a conventional rubber outsole. That combination makes it considerably lighter and more flexible, with a barefoot feel that's suited to foiling and fast racing rather than heavy hiking.

What is Fibrelite technology?

Fibrelite is a sole technology developed with Michelin. The fabric is laminated inside the rubber, which reinforces it against tearing without adding the weight or bulk of a heavy-duty sole.

Is this boot suitable for hiking?

The Zhik Lightweight High Cut X Boot built for agility and feel rather than maximum hiking stiffness. If hard hiking support is your priority, the Zhik Hiking X Boot is the better fit. The Lightweight High Cut X Boot still performs well for general dinghy sailing, just with a different emphasis.

How does the drainage system work?

Integrated drainage ports on the Zhik Lightweight High Cut X sailing boots let water flow out as you sail, so the boot doesn't pool water and turn heavy underfoot.

Does the knitted sock provide ankle support?

Yes, but it's adaptive rather than rigid. The knitted sock compresses around the ankle for support while preserving full range of motion, and the Velcro strap adds extra security on top.

Very nice and comfortable!
Color: Pink, Color: Pink
I have carpel tunnel syndrome in both hands, and using a regular mouse hurts my hand. My friend told me to buy an ergonomic mouse, so I said sure. I've never used an ergonomic mouse before or one that is turned on the side like this one. However, I bought this one because of its high ratings. I love this mouse! It's comfortable, easy to use, and has high quality. The color is great too for all of you pink lovers. It comes with a USB cord to charge the mouse. All you need to do to charge it is to attach the cord to your mouse and to your laptop and let it charge. You can also use the mouse while charging it. I read someone else’s review. They said that if the mouse isn’t working or communicating for whatever reason, you can still use it with its USB cord, and the mouse still words. It looks like the company put a lot of thought into making this device, and it’s well worth the cost. I'm glad I bought this; my hands don't hurt anymore, and it’s super unique. When I started using this mouse, it took a little time to get used to using it on its side. I couldn’t fully wrap my hand around it, but I’m getting more used to it and it feels great on my hand. The thumb buttons are for going back to the previous page you were on, or going forward to the next page. The button on the very top of the mouse is for the volume. You can also press it down, but I honestly don’t remember what that part is for. The other side of it is the left and right clicks with the scroll wheel. There’s another button above the scroll wheel also called the DPI button that allows you to quickly adjust the mouse sensitivity. You will also find the charging port on the lower part of the mouse where it divides, and there are several other buttons and the USB receiver on under the mouse for connecting the mouse t to your computer. A user manual comes with this device that guides you through the setup. Shipping was on time and packaged nicely. I give this a 5/5 and recommend this product.

Love it! And... it can be remapped!!!
Color: Purple
Love it!! I'm a Mac user and it's been wonderful. Zero connectivity issues. The size is perfect too, my hand is like 7.5inches I think, and it was just right. What knocked it out of the park is that I was able to get the buttons remapped with Karabiner-Elements, so now I have custom shortcut buttons!!! I also read on Reddit that it can be remapped with AutoHotKey for Windows ;) It's ergonomic, responsive and quiet, and it works great with Bluetooth. Being able to remap it has made it the most perfect and affordable vertical mouse. Hope it lasts forever, we'll see how it holds up over time!

Durable, affordable, definitely buy it
Color: Purple
This fits so comfortably in my hand and I find that the layout of the clicker buttons is more efficient for me than a normal mouse. Tbh I don't use all of the functions but I know she's got more than I utilize. Moves smooth. For someone who has hand mobility issues or injuries (maybe even carpal tunnel?), this might be a better alternative than a normal computer mouse. It's good quality, durable, and I love the color options, I got purple/green with yellow. Super cute and worth the price. My husband got a $100 ergonomic mouse but I was not willing to pay that hefty price. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Happy with them
I'm putting up shelves around my bed for my books, and so far, the first shelf is holding nicely with these brackets. They seem pretty sturdy and were easy to install with the screws and anchors that came with it. I measured out where i wanted the brackets on the board and then screwed them to it. I then held it against the wall and used a level to make sure it was level, then put a screw in the middle bracket to hold it level while i marked the rest of the screw holes. I did this all by myself, but it would've been a lot easier to do with two people. I plan to buy more and put up more shelves
